Good morning, happy Monday! How was your week?

It’s hard to believe that it is DECEMBER already! The year really flew by tho, well I think so! When I think about the last year I have to think that yap it went by fast! Another crazy wonky year but, I am looking forward to 2022!

This year I am trying to be jolly but, it’s not as whoop whoop! There is just a lot of loose ends to tie up for the end of 2021!

When in doubt put tinsel up lol! I did my decorating before December again this year but, for different reasons!

I had said in a previous blog that my son wants his birthday at his grandparents house this year! With that coming up well he has it when you are reading this his birthday is the beginning of December!

I have not set up our trees yet! Yap, Trees! lol

Let me explain this one! Last year we were not going to get a real tree! Now we have always had a real tree. 🌳 I grew up with only a fake tree and my husband only had real trees!

So, when we had got a fake tree and set it up my hubby didn’t really jive it so off him and our son went to get a tree! Well my fake tree was already up and dedicated right so, we had 2 trees haha. A kid one the fake tree and then the big one for the presents the real tree! How this happened was we had some friends over on night while talking about getting a real treeand I had said that I I think we should just keep both then and they could still go out and get a tree but, I felt that we should do both with a room of girls it was no big discussion and we then had two trees!

This year I still have all intentions of having both trees on just not sure on if they will be both in living room again!

I has thought about not decorating until we were back but then I would not of been putting up any decorations until the 7th! This would of been fine don’t get me wrong but I didn’t want to come home and need to feel rushed vs taking the days that I did!

The weekend after the 7th we are going to look for our rear tree so I feel I would of felt rushed on this!

We also had a toy pickup at toys R us on our way home! So that is another reason with so many packages coming in I didn’t want to have too much on my plate!

I already sat down and broke up my weeks! This is one of the tips for saving money through the holidays!

Did you catch last week’s blog on HOW TO SAVE DURING THE HOLIDAYS? I will leave a link down below!

To break down your weeks to put your tasks in each week will not only save you time and stress but it will save you money! This is because if you have the time to prep and do something the chances are you won’t spend the money to go and buy vs doing it at home!

Back to the point is I didn’t want to much going on that I already know would of been overwhelming and hard to do it all!

With all of that said I think it’s a good time to show my Christmas decorations! A lot is years old some sitting at almost 40 years old lol, I do hit the dollar stores and get asked new peices every year because we’ll I can lol! There is usually something…. as long as I get there early enough in the season… that catches my eyes and I want it lol! Yes Christmas problems lol!

Let’s start some Christmas decoration pictures!

If some of the pictures for some reason don’t load on the page then just click it! It should load the pictures from what I can tell lol. Stay with me I’m not the best computer person lol.

This is set kinda from walking from one end to the next in my house for the decorations!

I hope you enjoyed my holiday post! I will leave links for my other pages down below come join over on the other social media pages I try to post more personal daily tasks and goals. What I’m using to clean and some tips and tricks with it all.

Hope this struck some holiday cheer and some holiday motivation!

I would love to see your favorite decorations!

Until next week

Have a great day, a wonderful weekend and a productive week!

Bye for now! how to save during the holidays

Holiday Prep!

Hi good morning?

Happy Monday!

Can you believe that November is almost over already!

This is the time of year I get more and more ancy about my holiday to do list! I am not sure why, it’s not overly stressful these years as it is getting smaller well simplified over the years!

Gatherings are smaller, treat are less too so I don’t just eat it all lol! I don’t worry as much about having so many kinds of cookies or if the decorations are perfect on the tree…. the toddlers will rearrange them daily anyways lol.

I think I get more ancy because my son has his birthday in the beginning of December and I’m always worried that I’m not going to make it as great as what I should because it’s close to Christmas!

I am always try to plan his birthday in November to get the ball rolling right, then for some reason November flies by and I have nothing planned yet!

This year I do have some plans and they are calm plans which is nice! My son wants a birthday at his grandparents house! l I thought was such a cute idea, they don’t live here but not super far so it works nice!

However, I almost feel bad now because he doesn’t want to pick a birthday party he doesn’t want me to try to rent some place or to have his friends over! I realize I shouldn’t feel bad about this because it was his idea and he’s really excited about it!

My days have been totally blurred together lately like I said I can’t even believe it’s the end of November already! Where did the time really go there? I have been trying to sit down with my planner and just get everything planned out all skippity boo and then I got to get into my planner and my brain goes blank and I have no clue what I’m supposed to be doing! And then I get frustrated and overwhelmed hahaha.

The other day I just had to sit down and do a brain dump of not only the things that I to do but the places that I have to be! Not even like appointments and stuff like that other things like when I’m going to get to the city for groceries, when are we doing Christmas pictures and getting them ordered and sent out oh, what about Christmas shopping you know there is only two paychecks if being paid monthly until Christmas! Not to scare you but yeah!

Then there is still the daily stuff that needs to be done and, other running around!

Another thing that I’m trying to sit down and gather my head around is what cookies were going to make for treats what we’re going to do with Christmas meals! Just really trying to wrap my head around that who what where when and how of Christmas this year!

This year surprise surprise I’m not ready yet! I am not as worried tho or as stressed this round!

I was starting to get a little ancy when all of a sudden it is the end of November! However, I am trying to not panic at least not yet haha. I am planning on getting my lists ready, I am finally going to use my Christmas book I got A LONG TIME AGO lol its more of a permanent book vs the ones I have made in the past! I will post these over on my Facebook page, I’ll leave a link at the bottom!

I am trying to take each day step by step, and just wrap my head around what NEEDS to be done, what SHOULD be done and then WHAT I would like done!

I feel the next 4 weeks I am going to try as hard as I can to make my plans but have realistic plans for not only each day but each week!

I find I will get overwhelmed and not plan my days out as proper or productively as I should or could be!

I am excited about Christmas this year and I don’t want to just be a ball of stress and not enjoy it all this year!

Are you preparing for Christmas?

How early do you start?

I am going to start with planning then decorations and baking!

What do you start with?

I can’t believe Christmas is like 4 weeks away so so!

I hope you enjoyed the holiday blog! I will be sharing more of my Christmas prep through the next couple weeks over on my other pages!

I try to post more daily cleaning motivation, what I’m tackling, and just some mom day stuff over there too!

Make sure you follow the blog but, also follow over there too I will have the links below!

Until next week

Have a great day, a wonderful weekend and a productive week!

Hi good morning!

Welcome back or Welcome if your knew!

I am Kandis! I am a Saskatchewan mom of 4 kiddos! I am married for 13 years now and I am in love with my coffee, planner, organizing and routines! I am totally into making shelves look pretty and categorizing stuff!

It is funny because I love organizing this is something that I have started so many chapters in my life with and I still learn new stuff every time I join in any organizing things! There was a organizing session not that long ago that re-motivated me!

The start to ME!

There is always little key sayings that’ll pop out and stick with you as you were watching real learning or just learning something new expecially when you’re passionate about it you’ll always pick up on something else that sticks out to you as you form habits with the older stuff that you learned!

Couple things that really stuck with me this last organizing seminar is to not get frustrated if you don’t have time to do all whole project that once! This is something that as really stuck with me for a years and I tried to encourage everyone that I help organizing with two know you don’t have to do it all in one day! One of the biggest organizing things that I do is that I work or try to work shelf by shelf! Corner by corner, just little bits at of time.

Another thing that absolutely stuck with me and this is a new one and I will probably always remember it now is that it’s okay to know when you were busy being busy! Let’s think about this let’s reread this:

Try to figure out or putting your planner or in your schedules:

what time are you busy being busy!

This phrase literally changed my life right now! We all know that we’re busy as for the day we all know that we have crazy hectic lives! But, to be able to run a really nice strong schedule I’ve realized she’s right and I need to start realizing and actually scheduling around my busy being busy times!

The same comes with organizing there was always something that will need to be organized. To be reorganized to be cleaned out, purged all of these things are a constant thing to be doing.

How I try to keep my organizing continuously kind of rolling is that every week I have a different room that I work on for my room zone, and so it then everyday or even just wants a week I will think about what space in that room needs to be organized or purged and then what needs to be cleaned or deep clean disinfected whatever the case maybe for that room.

To organize one shelf I know I usually only will need between five and 15 minutes depending on where I am working. And so I will try to figure out what the best time is me to take this Five to fifteen minutes to get the organizing done and then I know that it is done for that month. I say month because every week I go into a different room and so once a month I usually get into almost every room.

When it comes to work and I think you do not need to spend hours upon hours and days and days getting the stuff done. This is not how typical working people would get their house organized. Start small start with whatever time for a new half it takes me literally 2 minutes to clean out my cutlery door, or so organized our hair brushes. 2 minutes! If I tell myself I can not do something for 2 minutes I need to read look at my times and my priorities LOL.

Throughout November I am going to be breaking down a lot more of my organizing strategies and Deborah tips and tricks that I have learned throughout the years.

Is organizing something that you thrive on or is it something that you struggle with?

What is something that you struggle with when it comes to organizing a space in your house?

I hope you will follow along through the organizing sessions of November it is truly a passion of mine and I look forward to organizing my spaces with all of you!

If you don’t already follow me make sure you follow the blog and, make sure you are following me on Facebook or on Instagram. I have been using Facebook a lot more than I am right now but I am on there once in awhile LOL. I will leave the links down below oh, I tried to post a lot more day today Mom life topics!

Until next week

Have a great day, a wonderful weekend, and a productive week!

Bye for now.

Finding My Cleaning Rythem!

Hi good morning! Have you ever noticed that you can make a list you can even do everything on your list and then even blank or turn around and it’s like nothing ever got done! This is my situation lately at least what it seems like and honestly started me a little bonkers!

Hi I’m Kandis and welcome to classy classics by Kandis! I am a stay-at-home mother of four children from the ages of almost 13 down to almost three! I love them all but holy man do they make a mess. My children all have zones well my older kids have zones but they are required to help clean up everyday! A pretty good that’s definitely not Mama clean but, they are kids and not a mom so there will be a difference I guess!

We live in our house that we are in right now for 3 years and, it is a much bigger house than the one that we came from! Like much bigger than my little house yes, that was the point that’s why we moved we out grew our house and, I I love my house I love the space but I am definitely trying to figure out how to keep it all looking like a house and not a zoo!

I have tried a couple different routines. I have tried daily tasks for trying to cover all floors for example, to do the floors well then I’m vacuuming upstairs sweeping and mopping the main floor and trying to vacuum or clean the cement floors downstairs!

I have tried and being using zone cleaning where each week I am in a certain zone of my house and I pretty much try to totally take care of that one’s own room through the week then just tidy the others!

I have also been trying out combining both, I did this a couple years ago and it was working pretty good, and then life happened I lost my rhythm!

I have debated about just doing weekly running list where I have a list of a bunch of stuff that I want to get down that week and depending on how much time and what motivation I have depending on what task I do that day off the list! However that one is hard for me because I will only do my basics and just roll matter tasks over literally forever!

Do you have a system or do tasks as the need to be done?

I have decided that I think I’m going to try to order an hourly planner for the new year and see if I can organize my stuff that way! I’m actually very excited about trying to do a hourly planner!

Do you have a planner or just do lists!

I think with just the overload of changes in different schedules and trying to find my whole group again has kind of thrown me for a loop! It’s hard for me to shake out of it this round and I look forward to getting everything resituated and hopefully on a smoother train again! Choo choo

I am the type of person that does do better when I have schedules and routines I know this. But, too get out of my thoughts of how I had everything going and to try to re crop it but, still knowing what it’s going to work the best for me I think is what being is being tricky!

I do look forward to this new task of making a smoother system!

I hope this gave you a little motivation to get a cleaning rythem happening! There is something about having a clean kitchen in the morning that is addicting lol!

If you don’t follow me on Facebook and Instagram I will have links below!

I post more daily to dos there! Come get some mom motivation or give me some motivation lol!

Until next week

Have a great day, a wonderful weekend and a productive week!
