Hi and good morning! How are you doing this week? This week was sure a swirl of craziness! With this it is still enough to make me go crazy! Anxiety!
I have struggled with anxiety my whole life! Do you would think that by now when I was in my thirties I would know how to control it better! However, that is not true and I crumble with my anxiety! I still struggle with “shaking” it off!
There is however a few things I have learned to try to calm it down! It is something that I have tried focusing on more, with my last kid! That 4th kid came and my anxiety got a little more touchy!
The kicker with myself is that it can be the smallest things that trigger my anxiety!
With having such bad anxiety I have found a way couple tips and tricks that can help calm me!
1) Stick to the routine!
This sounds so basic but, when my mind is going in all directions it is important for me to keep on going. I will do my routines and try to keep my mind on my routine! Knowing what my routines are I can almost float through them, trying to calm my mind! When I have my bed still made in the morning it can always calm me down! I love seeing my bed all nicely made….. before kids get at it lol!
2) Change my thinking!
I am not a go to the positive side of my anxiety! It takes a lot to get my brain thinking positive however, when it gets there it’s so much better!

3) Play it out
I tend to play out the situations in my head! When there is no outcome to the situation the outcome is usually what I put in my own head! Part of the reason why I need to change my thoughts to as positive as I can!
4) Enjoy the little things!
On the days that I wake up with anxiety can be hard, I tend to have worse days when I wake up with anxiety versus getting it sometimes through the day!
On days like this it is almost impossible for me to find motivation, and so I will try to just get my cup of coffee and I will go sit down with the littles, maybe do a puzzle with them, watch a little TV get some extra snuggle time in that morning.
This is a nice way for me to just enjoy those little things in life, my dishes may not be getting done got my babies are getting bigger and those snuggle days are coming to a countdown.
5) Destress… usually at bedtime!
If my anxiety has stayed with me all through the day, or was extreme intense level here the day then I will try to schedule out just a me night! This can be as simple as doing some stretching that night and will usually always have a nice hot shower to help relax me. I love when I can just sit down and put on Netflix and space right out onto my show, I usually don’t think about to much then, other than my show. I love planning in my planner so I can try to do something in my planner oh, this also keeps my brain on a totally different track than what it’s being stuck on for the day depending on what I’m freaking out about that day LOL.
There is so many different ways that can calm my head down oh, none of it’s easy and when I start to have anxiety it can be really hard to have it gone.
Really anything that can help clear your mind oh, I love going for a walk, a drive, make a phone call really anything that can help settle my brain I can try to help settle my day!

There is so much triggers in the world these days that I am trying to find a balance between my thoughts and my anxiety something that I’ve been working on and something then I will continue some working on.
