Teacher Gifts 2019

Another year, another round of giving! Do you give out gifts for the kids extra people? This year is all about simple and thoughtful!

Hi good morning and welcome to Classy Classic’s By Kandis!

Can you believe it’s almost time for the jolly man to come? This year for the teachers we thought we would keep it clean, simple and cute.

With the year coming to an end…. a very long emotional, stress testing year, I decided it’s all about the giving, in a smaller way!

My kids have 4 teacher gifts to give out this year. I am the mom that will put so much thought and extra into gifts that it almost become more then it should! So this year I went to the dollar tree and had it set out for about $5 a teacher. This may seem little but I really like how they are coming together!

If the gifts seem “not done” that’s because, well they are not! Hahaha.
I wanted to get the blog set up tho to help with so e cute ideas for this holiday season when it comes to the “other” gifts.

The teachers, bus driver, leaders, coaches ECT.

These little gifts that are probably the cutest I think to make, but can add up quick if you don’t pay attention. I did around $5 each to make under $30 for all the extras. They are also all the same other then the towel design is different, just to show some extra thought. This is also tho we are from a small town where everyone knows everyone. So if that is not your case or style it is very easy to make them all the same and be fine.

How ever like I said they are not quite done, only thing that is missing is small items for in the cup, and the cookie trays are not done yet!

Next week I am picking up the stuff to finish and the trays will be done by then as I have the baking mapped out on my weekly to do!

Head over to my blog on 5 tips for a stress free Christmas, to see what I do to help break, up the tasks throughout the weeks.

So back to the main thing haha…. squirrel brain!

This year I really like the feeling on these!

There is a cute mug, travel cup, Christmas towel, cookie tray done by me 😁, then to finish it off I am going to fill the to go mug with little goodies and hot chocolate mixed!

All hopefully tucked in a cute basket wrap! This is also cause would you believe when I went to the store I could not find a cute Christmas basket!

All wrapped up I think they will be so cute, easy to carry and very yummy and thoughtful!

I’ll make sure to post updates as they get completed. We however have about 2 weeks till they need to leave my house, so as I said they will get finished this week!

I hope this gave you some ideas for those little gifts. You can also head over to last year’s posts on Instagram.

Make sure to follow me on Instagram under Kandis Blask or over on Facebook Classy Classic’s By Kandis. There will be the finished product there also lots of daily posts on day to day fun and ideas. Lots of motivation and everything in between!

Here Comes Santa Claus

It comes only once a year! There is 364 days to prepare, there is only certain holidays that are the same day all across the world. This one gets people so ancy, happy, mad, sad, bitter, grateful and excited. This is a holiday that can do anything to a person, family and a community!
IT’S CHRISTMAS!

Every year I say I’m going to start early, I’m going to have a nice relaxed family loving year!

It’s a true magical moment too see the magic in the kids eyes! I love trying to make the holiday as special and magical as I can!

The true magic of Christmas is the ability to gather so many people together and have a special vibe go through the air. True Christmas magic is the care and love and cookies lol.

Over the years I have started to get the Christmas spirit back! For years it was just another day, a time of year I had to put a smile on and tell everyone life was fine! Now I’m gitty at Christmas time, filling hopes and dreams and stuffing stocking’s.

Over the last couple years I have learned a thing or two about managing the weeks and stress leading yup to, what is the “happiest time of the year”.

I have 5 tips that I thought I would share!

1- Have somewhere to write everything out and keeps your holiday thoughts and plans together. This can be anything a notebook, plain paper, planner anything that you have.

2- write out your thoughts and plans! Too have your Christmas in one stop will make it easier to keep track, see what works and what doesn’t, up coming plans, hopes and dreams.

3- Map it out! I write out my week to week leading to Christmas. This will make it easier to plan out the tasks you have to do. Giving yourself only a couple tasks each week will make it less intimidating.

4- Start with your smaller tasks! There is no point in deep cleaning your house when there is still 3 weeks to Christmas. However you can start with other cleaning and organizing tasks. Clean out the pantry, wipe the chairs, organize your cupboards, wash guest bedding etc. This way as Christmas gets closer you are not stressing out about the little but big tasks that could be taken care before the holiday rush.

5- Get a gift game plan! To shop online or to go into the stores? That is the question! Do you know who all you have to buy for. Don’t get stuck at the last minute forgetting a gift. In my house I break down the Christmas’s, as we do seperate Christmas for each side of the family. This way I no who to buy for and from who. This makes it easier to stay on budget and not over buy for one person, over another.

Do you no use or have you heard about ebates know known rakuten! as I will leave a link below! It’s free to sign up! Its A great way to save and an extra bonus is you get money back, shopping! So if you haven’t heard or it, or don’t use it, check it out! It only takes minutes to sign up and save!
That is some tips and tricks that I have learned over the years. I usually start my outline in the beginning of November. This makes it easier to plan out Christmas baking, shopping, cleaning and organizing.

I hope this has helped take some of the hustle and bustle out of December. Make the weeks more productive and less scrambled.

How do you prep for Christmas?
When do you start prepping, planning or either thinking about jingle bells?
Let me know in the comments, also you can follow me on Instagram under Kandis Blask, or over on Facebook Classy Classic’s for day to day fun, tips, planning and prepping.

Evening Routine Is It Bed Yet

Does it ever feel like the day just slows down? Time almost stops when your waiting for it to fly by? Evening just blurr together, especially on the nights mommy needs a shower haha.

Hello and welcome to Classy Classic’s By Kandis for another routine blog! This one is our evening one! This tends to be the busiest time of the day!

I’m not sure if it’s because everyone is home now, or if it is because mama is ready for her day to end lol!
Either way evening can get long and I tend to need my routine to stay on track for this time of day!

What does an evening look like in our house of 6!

My evening routine is roughly from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. This is yes counting my relax time ideally from 9:30/10:00 – 11:00.
I try to be tucked in bed around 11:00 pm, as 5:30 am comes oh so fast!

With the evening we start it at say 6:00 pm at supper! Supper comes and goes, then comes dishes, clean the table off, get the kitchen wiped down and a quick sweep! This usually will run us close to sometime around 7:00-7:15 pm.

I will try to have homework done before supper, if that did not happen we then will finish off homework.
Showers and baths have to get going. The big kids can have theirs before or after supper depending on everything else.
As for the little ones I try to have them going in around 7:30-8:00. We don’t bath them together as Dawsyn the youngest is still in the baby tub.

If time is permitting my daughter Valary the oldest and myself have been trying to stretch together. This only happens on a rare base!

I have been trying to get back into read aloud for the last 15 minutes at night, however just like everything it is harder then it sounds!

Then it’s time for bed. I am currently in the middle of actually trying to get the young ones in bed for 8:30 now.
The big ones can have free time in their bedrooms, I ideally have them in bed for 9:00pm.
What is your kids bed time?
I was having everyone in bed at 9:00 however I’m greedy and would like bed time to come sooner. Also they are up early.

Dawsyn still gets nursed and snuggled for bed. Yes this will come to bite me in the butt, however it’s also a reason for me to sit and chill with snuggles!

With all the kids in bed and chilling in their rooms, if there is a task that needs to be finished, without little ones around I will take 30 minutes to work on it. Example is getting my basement done!

With all of that it is then time for mama’s time.
This is when I will sit in bed with my hubby, watch a  movie, hang out and chit chat.

Then just like that it’s bed, unless I have already fallen asleep! Yes, this has been happening a little too much!

How does your evening go?
Got a standard routine?
Do you stick to it?

I try to just because a clean house is addicting haha, I love waking up for my coffee and day with a “fairly” clean house.

With that, that’s it, that’s all! That is the last routine in my house! If you haven’t read seen the other routines be sure to head over and read about the morning and afternoon routines. I have added links at the bottom for them!

Till next week when a new adventure awaits!
Make sure you subscribe to the blog for notifications on new blogs, and of coarse follow me on Instagram under Kandis Blask or over on Facebook Classy Classic’s for all the day to day fun that happens.

After School Routine Trying To Do It!

Hi good morning and welcome to Classy Classic’s By Kandis. It’s another week, another start, another routine.
There is always time for a strong routine. When placed in the right time zone can be extremely helpful, thrown together, and not thought about is just a waste.
In my mind it is that is!
I have routines to help set up my day! Between all the demands and different job tasks that are required as a stay at home mom, it can be difficult to remember, coordinate and accomplish it all.
I will point out that it is not our job to do it all.

Remember ” you can do anything, but you can not to everything” this is a saying I’m trying to keep in my mind!

It can be hard when there is always something that needs to be done, and always someone that needs some mom time. How to do it all.

In my afternoon routine it is broken down to help me on track and focused. I get detracted really easy! With this I can keep my mind focused for a couple minutes as most tasks if just done should not take long.

What does a afternoon look like for this house? The afternoon is roughly from 12:00 pm till around 5:00pm.

I start with lunch, as its just the 2 little ones here for lunch depending on the activities in the day will depend on lunch.
Yes, they do eat lol, maybe it’s all day snacks, maybe it’s soup and sandwiches at exactly lunch time. It all depends!

With Masyn getting a little older I am currently weaning him off of naps! He will tend to fall asleep still in random places lol, and only get to nap for an hour or so.

Baby Dawsyn I try to get to nap in the afternoon, if I’m, lucky for a couple hours!

The afternoons are not as productive for cleaning, as it is in the morning. Hubby gets home around 2pm, the kids get home around 3:40 pm there is really only a couple hours in the afternoon. I will try to tidy up….again, maybe sit and relax a couple minutes. Depending on how the morning went finish those little things from my zone that day!

From noon too about 2 pm there is just small things getting done,

Lets get to after school when the business sets in!

I try to have a snack either picked out or prepped and ready for when they get home. The after school routine tends to not always get completed as time waits for no one. However we sure try lol.

When the big kids gets home it’s go time for this mamma as I am needed in many places all at once.
We will unpack our backpack, I go through the agenda’s and get them signed and back into the school bags, they unpack the lunch kits, wash their hands and have a snack. Then on to homework! There is not much as they are in elementary however there is still some! We do reading, spelling and if there is other homework due then that also.

If everyone needs showers that nightwe try to start before supper.
Then they have some free time before supper.

I then prep or finish making supper, clean off the table… there is always something there lol.
We set the table and get ready to eat.

This is roughly how the afternoons tend to look.

Now a lot happens in the afternoon other then getting what needs to be done for the next day, for the smaller stuff, as I do more tomorrow stuff I  my evening routine.

This is for next week, what an evening looks like in our house of 6.

How do your afternoons go?
Let me know do you have a routine?
Set out tasks to complete?
I would love to hear, how your days go!

Stay tuned for next week’s blog on our evening routine!

Morning Routine with 4 Kids And Coffee!

Good Morning! Birds are chirping, sun is coming up, and kids are waking up! Coffee is brewed and mamma is enjoying a cup! Mornings can be hard, whether you have kids in school, or little ones at home. In my case I have both, and I tell you my morning routine is proving to be very important here for a smoother morning!

Hi I’m Kandis and welcome to Classy Classic’s By Kandis. As I said I am a mother of 4 kids, a daughter who is 10, and 3 boys ages 8, 2 1/2 and 8 month old! Things can go from 0 to wow in no time! I have learned that we need a strong morning routine here. Do you have a morning routine? Let me know, how does it work for you?

I hope whether you have a routine or not you enjoy this blog on our morning routine and how we try to get the older kid’s ready and out the door for school, and mamma gets a couple things done. Let me know in the comments if you liked it, and I will be getting ready to post the afternoon blog here next!

Here we go my morning consists of the hours from 6:00 am to roughly 12:00 pm. This is “my morning” I get up at 5:30 but other the coffee and my planner nothing is happening as far as I hope in the morning. I have a “block system” I have wrote about, go have a read on how I break up my hours. I will also be doing an updated version soon.

Ok so…. 6 am oh my so early, this is because my hubby needs to get up and ready for road bound, as he is still dealing with his accident from March! So 6:00-7:00 is getting him up, having coffee and a quick chit chat, before he leaves usually before 7 am if he is running late then it’s by 7 he must be out.

7 am comes fast, if the stars have lined up then all 4 kids are hopefully still asleep. The younger ones tend to get up way to early some days. At roughly 7:15 it’s time to get the big kids up for school. If I have not made my bed and gotten dresses yet I will do this as I wait for them to get downstairs.
They are to make their beds, and get dressed before coming down to get ready for breakfast.

Breakfast depending on the day depends on what the choices are. We aim to be eating by about 7:30 as my children feel the need to take forever eating breakfast.
They then get ready for school with their morning list it can help, as they can go threw the list themselves. Hahaha they “should” be able too!
They are supposed to: make bed, get dressed, breakfast, vitamins, brush teeth, wash up, brush hair, pack backpack, and out the door! Yap that’s what they need over an hour to do!

After the kids are off to school, I get the little ones settled and content.
Then it’s kitchen clean up, nothing to big, unless its kitchen zone. Then I would have more there! Just a tidy to get ready for the next round. Then the baby is ready for a nap, usually he will take a nap in the morning. He will usually nap till about 10:30-11:00 depending!

Masyn my toddler will watch some tv, and have play time. This is also when I get my zone cleaning or specific tasks done, that can be with him awake. We will look over me zone cleaning soon. This is breaking the house into “zones” to help with outlines.

We then will try to get outside if weather is good.

Then just like it’s time to start lunch!

There you have it!
My morning in a nut shell, this is how my first 6 hours go!

There will be more on my tasks when the block system is updated and out, or go on over and have a read on it while you wait for an updated one.

How does your morning go?
How did you like the routine on our morning?
Think you might create one or change yours up?
Have any questions or comments?

A Little Can Go A Long Way

Bills, mortgage, insurance, grocery, coffee, kids it all adds up! What do you think you spend the most money on?
I bet you have more money then you think!

Good morning and welcome to Classy Classic’s By Kandis! I am super excited to write this blog!
It’s an outline for……. budgeting! Do you have debt, live paycheck to paycheck? Trying to save for a vacation or a big purchase?

There is so many ways to “budget”, which way have you tried? I have designed a way that I found to work lovely! I say this as I did it and now we are out of debt!

I find just as a morning routine or a cleaning routine, there are so many different ways out there how do you know what will work? Everyone has different jobs, different income, different bills, different dreams and goals!

With this outline you pick how to roll with it. Just as habits it comes down to how bad do you want it?

You are not going to get out of debt, if you keep doing what you want. Want to save put that $5.00 in a envelop not at the store on a latte!
It sucks to hear but no one said being a big person was always fun haha.

If you are ready to start getting out of debt then you can do it. I have broke down a quick pyramid outline to help get you started. There is steps to help you see how to break down your expenses to make as much as you can stretch.

Will it be easy? No!
Will it be fast? Faster then before!
Will you stop everything you enjoy? No, and not forever!

Without anymore hubba bubba let’s get into it.

Step 1: The first step is a important one! Find out what your monthly income is! You can’t save anything if you don’t know what you have to work with. The best way in have found for this is to simply get a statement out and as you go over it color code it. This will help with all the steps. If you can see where your money is going you can see where to add or subtract your spending. This is not a hard task and will not take long. Don’t forget it’s colorful, and organized after.

Step 2: Fixed Expenses! No matter what being an adult means bills! Bills, bills, bills. They come in all sorts of sizes and baggage. There is house bills, car insurance, everything has insurance lol. Preauthorized payments, bank payments all of it. These are payments that are the same or close to month to month. Figure out what is being taken out, and must be paid every month  no matter what. Got them, they should be a pretty color on the statement. Simply add them together. This is what you need to clear each month. Got bills covered there is more wiggle room, less stress, more clarity on your “left over” money!

Step 3: Loans and debt! It is there, no matter how you justify it  they money was spent and needing to be paid. This can be of any amount! Large ones from schooling, a car, house. To borrowing a couple hundred bucks. According to Jordan Page you start with the smallest to largest. Take as much as you can budget to pay off what you can. If you are paying $100.00 on a loan, and $200.00 to pay your relative off, pay the person back, roll that debt money to your next debt. Each time a loan, or payment gets paid or the amount goes down you can roll that amount!
Example is: I paid off our credit card, now we actually have a positive balance. I paid higher amounts to cover the interest rate and payment, then took only a hundred dollars off my “budgeted” amount and rolled it anothet debt. This way as my card was getting paid first then other bigger ones was getting some then more and more till it’s just gone!
Step 4: It seems know matter what the grocery store costs so much money. Have you sat down and done an inventory list. What is in the back of those cupboards, or the bottom of the freezer! Do you meal plan? Meal planning can save so much, if you don’t impulse buy you can save tons! I have heard to budget $100 per person per month! I say no way! This is one of the easiest places to save money. Buy only what you need for that grocery time. Whether it’s a week, or a month you can meal plan and keep it under budget. Make some casseroles, soups, throw together meals with the hidden pantry food. This is also for baby items, and house products. You can do it all cheaper then the store. Make baby food, have you tried Diy cleaners,  they work great, last a while, no chemicals and so so much cheaper. I have not bought “cleaner” in almost 10 years! Yap I make it, also I will not stop. I love my cleaners, and diy products.

Step 5: How do you save when you owe? This one gets people stressed. It is hard to see the progress while the iceberg is so big. However when trying to save and get debt free, I suggest small. Empty your change, count that after each week. Use a cash envelope for your ” extra” money, you will hold on to cash easier then not swipping. Saving that coffee mobey instead will add up. Say no to the quick grab food/snacks. Remember every bit counts!

Step 6: The “extra”… There is always something that comes up! Kids, house, pet or personal, there is always something. If it’s extra and not an emergency, I’m sure you can do without. Kids lunches sorry only packed from home. City runs, or fast food nights! Nope eat at home, or pack a lunch for in the car. There is lots of extras!

Step 7: You still need to spend some. After everything that is being cut back, you can still save and have fun! Did you stick to your budget? Have a take out night, buy some ice cream for family game night! Just don’t over spend! Make it fun, what can you get for $20.00 to do a fun night! There is always ways to do something cheaper or free.

I hope this blog has opened some doors, cleared up some questions or concerns! Have questions, I’m here! Ask away! Here or over on Instagram under Kandis Blask or on Facebook Classy Classic’s By Kandis! I will help with any questions!
Got some other advise let’s here those comments!
We all work different, let’s have those ideas to make everyone succeed.

It will take time, it will take work!
Yes you can do it!
As hard as you want it,  will be how hard you work for it!

Till next time everyone have a great money saving day, I will talk to you soon on the media pages, and on here with another blog next week!

I Learned A Lot In 3 Weeks

Have you heard the expression “you can’t have your cake, and it it too”!
I have always been the type that says “watch me”, I’ll make it, bake it, and have it too! Lol
I always say “can do anything, give me 24 hours”. Anything can happen in 24 hours!

There is a actual reason why my friends said the doctor was a smart man, not putting me a boot. I will keep going, always something to do. Little by little, task by task it will all get done.

Here is a fun fact about me lol I have troubles focusing on one task. I have squirrel brain haha. I will be cleaning one spot, do the mistake of taking something to another room, to put away.p then see something and start tackling that. It can be hard to complete one task, and so it never feels like I got much done because I am so everywhere.

These week’s I have not be able to really do that. With not being able to just be on the go, bounce from here to there I had to be focused on the task at hand.
I had a goal to do at least one task a day, two if everything was going good, and they were not big tasks.

With needing to pace myself, but still needing to keep things even a little in order I set out and made a 2 week plan. Cleaning and food.
I could pick my couple tasks a day and roll with it. Needless to say I did good! I ended up pushing myself a couple times, but having to take a break and put my foot up, sure kept me in line haha.

My tasks were broke up instead of having a zone that I would work in, I did a task for the day.
One day I cleaned my counters and deep cleaned behind all the stuff. The next day I vacuumed my floors, as I can not sweep, so I got on my butt and vacuumed haha.
Bathroom was a day, other then the tub as I can not clean it yet.
This was how I tried to keep the grossness down as much as I could.

These 3 weeks that I had crutches was sure a learning curve for not only me, but the whole house!
I could not just do it for everyone, some tasks where just left undone.
What kind of tasks you may ask?

A good example is:
My 10 year old informed me she was out of socks! I asked her
“Ok, so what should, be done”?
Her response ” I need to wait” 🤔
Oh wait for what….. broke foot or not they are required to simply bring down their dirty clothes. So why is it when I have a cast they feel they now need to wait. I would not of been the one to bring down the dirty clothes anyways!

Kids I tell you lol.

I have learnt that it is ok, to have some stuff out till later, it’s ok to let the floors go for  a little.
Those little snuggles are only here for a bit, as the dirty floors truly are not going anywhere!

Those milestones that come and go daily is a true gift!

Dawsyn the baby stared to crawl…. EVERYWHERE and that was a special thing to be on the floor with him, also sitting up by him self! He loves trucks, and animals, and crumbs haha. 😩😅

Masyn the toddler, loves to read….. in the morning more then any other time of the day. He loves to give hugs and jump on pillow piles, vaccuming and of coarse eating. He eats so much tho!

Valary and Dysyn my big kids, love to cook, just not clean up haha. They love to play with the little ones, and to read to everyone!

I have learnt so much, about being able to sit, and relax as I really am not one to stop.

The house can be done little by little, and it’s ok.

This is all things that I thought I knew before, however it took having too just sit to fully realize and accept it!

I guess everything does happen for a reason! It may take time to see that reason, but in the end it was how those cards were actually supposed to be delt!

I have a goal now more then ever to take the time for my whole family, just like everything one at a time. Each person needs some time, a hug, a kiss or just a simple I love you from time to time!

In the end everything will work out. I hope everything will line up in your house, your world and in your stars. I hope you enjoyed this blog. I will of coarse keep you updated on the foot, house, and take you along as things start to slowly get back to normal, with the exception on those extra snuggle times, extra couch sits, extra mamma time.

One Week Update Who Won Doctor or Mamma!

Might need to add silver!

Good Morning everyone how are we today? Welcome to CLASSY CLASSIC’S BY KANDIS. I hope you had a great week! Fall is officially here. Leaves are changing, morning are frosty, birds are not singing happy warm songs!

October is one of my favorite months! There is something about me for you! The air is crisp the scenery is so beautiful. My husband’s birthday is the beginning of the month, thanksgiving and Halloween. There is so much fun in October!
I love reasons to theme anything, to have a big gathering. Nothing beats a bbq and drinks with friends!

So how is the foot you ask?
September 25th I headed into the doctors bright and early. I got told I broke my foot!
If you haven’t had the chance to read it go have a boo. It’s All I Wanted Was A Shower! So a week went by with mommy on the couch probably not as much as I should of but still lots…. especially for me! Healing food, and rest we set off for the healing week.

What did the doctor have to say when I went in? I was told it could be 6 weeks to the end! I informed the doctor that his time frame would not work for me 🙅‍♀️ and it had to be faster lol. Did he listen?
On October 2nd, yap my hubbys birthday we head into the hospital for an 8 am appointment! Heading out the door by 6:30 to make the drive and get in.

A fun fact is that I have been with my doctor for many years! At least 20 years… don’t even know how long. With this he knows me very well. This can be a good thing and a bad thing.

Morning went pretty good out the door and to the hospital. Doctor came in pressed and poked my foot. It is still bruised and a bit swollen. He first said to put me in a boot. My response arms in the air yeah yes let’s do it. Then he changed his mind.🙁

Into a cast for 2 week’s.
Why you may ask? He proceeded to say, I am going to do to much. I will carry the baby, walk around and power clean like everything is fine!
This is absolutely true I would of! If I don’t stay off of it, and rebreak it, it would set me back possibly up to 12 week’s!
“Do what you want, have the boot, hurt your foot and come back”! Yap this is my doctor and I love him. So I told him he sucks haha true story, he says it’s for my own good and he will see me in 2 weeks.

So with a matching out fit as I had a mental talk with myself the night before knowing it was a good chance that it was going to be a cast.
Pink and black with silver. My favourite color scheme, pink cast it was.

What to do now? How to do it all? Cleaning, lunches, prep, kid care just mom stuff!

I’m kicking it back and taking a mental day so I don’t have a break down. Playing and planning in my planner.

Remember: how do you get across the pond? One lily pad at a time! Don’t underestimate yourself but don’t over do it!

This is how I will make it through the next 2 weeks.
I have plans to try to do one task, at least one task a day.
Little by little it will get done.
As I am behind now on my goals and tasks, least fall is here. I don’t feel as bad about not getting outside as much.
I will get those little things done!

Healing Power!

You don’t know how long a week can be! 7 days normally goes so fast, this week went by fast just not as fast as I would of liked!

I have my coffee thermos that fits in my house coat pocket, or a skirt I have been enjoying and a mommy needs help list. There is a basket that is at the side of the couch and a bag with diapers for the little ones and clothes for Dawsyn since I can’t get my butt up stairs!

I got onto good old Pinterest, and pulled some of my healing books! If there is research to be done I will do it lol. I had to keep in mind that I am still on a breastfeeding diet so there is some stuff I do have to stay away from, however Dawsyn is 8 months old already and so he is getting much better on what I can eat!

With the living room set up for mommy with the kids. I have Masyn who is the toddler at 2 1/2 and Dawsyn at 8 months by myself until about 1:30pm. I had to get ready for some long mornings. Which I would love to take the time to point out has gone good, other then not being able to carry anyone which can be tricky come lunch, they have been really good for mommy these days!

Dawsyn is in his playpen in the living room, I have switched sides of the bed with the hubby. He had the side closest to the door.
Its time to heal!

I have my vitamins on the counter so I maybe remember them, got some healing breastfeeding approved food, found my wedge pillow from pregnancy…. my first pregnancy actually 😂….she’s 10! Perfect way to reuse the pillow!

The week for food wise is consisting of tossed salad, cooked broccoli, spinach, zucchini, carrots, eggs, elk meat, fish, potatoes, cheese, milk! I am trying to get back into my water, that is a hard habit to get back into I had fallen out with the summer and secret mission! Of coarse I still have coffee.😂😉

My days consist of getting kids to school, getting the little ones into the living room, then waiting for the hubby lol. Kids come home supper clean up bed! As hard as it is to sit still, I am trying to be on the couch with my foot up. I can sit with it up on the playpen if I feel I should have it higher haha.🤷‍♀️

We made sure to have lunch prep done on Sunday to make mornings easier as I can’t be bouncing round between people these days.

Breakfast isn’t to fancy for school days either, we had cereal, and oatmeal for the most part.
Lunches are what I have for baby, the kids pack a mini lunch for Masyn when they are getting their lunches ready.
Suppers are better I promise at least we are having one good meal haha. We had fish with potatoes or perogies and some veggies. Elk meat, potatoes and veggies, and eggs in different ways!

I have been trying to have milk with at least one meal 🤦‍♀️ it was supposed to be at each meal but you know life happens to fast at times.

This has been my exciting week. Trying my best to rest the foot, buut still getting some stuff. There is still a house to run lol. There is always a way but not over doing it is another.
